Lock and Key Key Box

Welcome to Club Scrap's October Blog hop featuring the October Kit, Lock and Key.

We have needed a key box to hang by our front door forever.  I thought how neat it would be to make one using the lock and key kit.  I had an old shadow box I purchased from Pottery Barn 8 years ago, still in the box, in my closet.

Easiest project ever.

Fiber and key hides paper seam.
I cut some cork board to line inside of shadow box, as the padding already there was not thick enough to accommodate the picture hooks I used.  I then used card stock from Club Scraps October Lock and Key kit  and placed over the cork board.  I bought some picture hanging hooks, and spaced them evenly by pressing into cork.  And Voila...a key box, that I am totally happy with.

Hope you enjoy.  Now head on over to Debby's blog to check out her awesome creation!  http://masculineinspirationsinpapercrafts.blogspot.com
